Yena is a Fashion Tech Business that aims to bring functionality and looking good together, with a hands-free mobile phone experience. In today’s hustle and bustle nobody wants to have to try remember where they left their phone, dig through their bag to find it, or have to juggle it in your hand because it is too big to store easily in your pocket. Yena is all about achieving freedom while also looking good.

About Yena:

Yena was conceived, nurtured, and born in the small township of Pongakawa in the beautiful Bay of Plenty in 2023.

In 2022, my partner and I were fortunate enough to travel abroad to visit our extended family in Europe, and in South Africa. While traveling abroad, I discovered these incredible yet stylish and functional mobile phone accessories that just made the juggle of travelling easier. I am terrible at putting my phone in a pocket and dropping it or losing my phone into the depths of my handbag, or honestly just forgetting where I put my phone down. I was introduced to the crossbody mobile phone strap experience, and I have never looked back. I came home from our travels and started searching for something similar but could only find anything vaguely similar overseas. This was when I knew New Zealand needed this product.  Teaming up with local New Zealand businesses, I have managed to source and use New Zealand products and work with talented creatives to bring Yena to life and bring you the Yena Cross body mobile phone strap and bag.
